What people say…

In January, I suffered a panic attack. At the time I also hyperventilated and thought I was having a stroke. This left me feeling so afraid that another attack could happen at anytime. Going out of the house took so much effort as I kept worrying that I might have another episode while shopping at Tescos or any other mundane thing we normally take for granted.

I went to see a local doctor, who fortunately for me, could barely take her attention off of her computer screen and seemed not to care in the slightest how scared I was. She gave me a telephone number to call, a helpline of sorts. Not easy to do really if you can't breath at the time.

I knew a hypnotherapist was in Newmarket and decided to email him. Dan responded to the email straight away and I was booked in. I had five sessions in total and feel like my old confident self again. Dan is such a good listener and made me feel equipped to never have panic attacks sneak up on me again.

I left each session looking forward to going out and living my life. I can't say in words how grateful I am to Dan for this. I feel so fortunate that the doctor I mentioned at the beginning of this testimonial, was so unhelpful. As otherwise I may have been prescribed a lifetime of sedatives.

Dan has taught me how to enjoy my life again and be in control, for that I am truely grateful.

I came to see you for help with my interview anxiety and confidence, and with a history of getting overwhelmed by nerves on the day so I didn't perform.

Our session was great, amazing actually, I carried a sense of calm with me as I walked out and it was not diminished by the chaos that met me when I got home. I managed to sort all this, do more interview prep and then get to sleep and get a reasonable night’s rest.

Still felt calm in the morning, my brain kept bringing up (great) examples of things I could use in the interview. I then went in – and it was amazing. I really took control, stayed calm, thought of relevant examples, smiled and was clear in my communication. I ‘lived’ my visualisation – kept seeing it clearly and moving towards it.

I came out of the (hour and a half, doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun!) interview with a smile on my face and when people asked how it had gone I replied “ really well” – never felt like that before! Two days later one of the managers who had interviewed me and was in charge of the recruitment, called me into her office to tell me that, unfortunately I hadn’t got the job – BUT she then gave me a list of gushing feedback that meant I was grinning and felt immensely proud of myself despite not getting the job.

Basically I was interviewed by two people who have known me for years, but she said I managed to shock them – I met the bar for getting the post – excelled it on some questions and I could not have done any more than I did. They were hugely impressed with my attitude and answers and surprised how much I had changed – basically I did myself proud and FINALLY nailed an interview. She even asked me what my secret was and I told her - hypnotherapy! She was sceptical but I told her if she wanted to try it I know someone I can HIGHLY recommend!

I don’t think thank you quite cuts it, but thank you so much. I know that I did a lot to help myself and some of the specific direction I took was thanks to my mentor here at work, but the execution of all of that work only worked so effectively because you managed to get me to a point where I was relaxed and confident enough to get all of it across to the interviewers – the bit about stuff coming up to the top of my mind as I needed it actually happened – I could feel it! So thank you so much – it made all the difference

I went to see Dan after suffering anxiety and panic attacks following a horse riding accident. I've been riding the horses who used to cause me anxiety for well over a week now and all is going good. I feel much calmer and more confident. I would like to thank you for your help, it is much appreciated.

I came to Dan for help with my emotional eating, but came away with so much more. Dan's managed to make me feel like a human being again and I now have the confidence to control what goes in my mouth and I'm even getting out more! Thank you so much, you're amazing xx

Really happy with the session. I smoked for over 10 years and since my session with Dan I haven't even looked at a cigarette! Highly recommended. Thank you, Dan.

Why try NLP? From the outside to everyone else i was happy, successful and where i wanted to be but inside i was insecure, had no confidence in my own opinion, no self esteem and thought i would always get it wrong so why try???? I realized things had to change and luckily i had friends who had been to see Dan and recommended him to me.

After only 3 meetings with Dan i began to feel different and began to notice little changes in the way I thought and behaved, further down the road it is like having the old me back everything that used to bother me before now seems trivial and I can see the positive in things. If you were to ask me should you go and see Dan and do NLP I would say to you what do you have to lose and if it is everything that is holding you back and bringing you down you have answered your own question!!!

I originally started working with Dan to address my issues with confidence, self belief and motivation. After a few sessions, some of which very emotional, we really turned a corner and I can honestly say that I have never looked back.

I compete at an amateur level in body building and Dan really helped me develop and maintain the focus, determination and motivation to push through my training, especially when the going got tough. I was able to approach my qualifier with the self belief and confidence to perform be at my peak on stage.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Dan to anyone who is looking to make a positive change in their life.

I saw Dan for six sessions and can honestly say he has really helped me, with things I suffered from for a long time and more recent feelings too. He is very easy to get on with and I felt at ease telling him anything. I would definitely recommend him and if I have any problems in the future wouldn't hesitate in going back! So thank you Dan.

I like the methods you use. You are a very personable person and you immediately made me feel very relaxed talking to you about my issues. I think you have really found your vocation in life and I can see why you are so booked up!

All going really well at the moment. It was nice to be able to talk through the bits that we did and apart from needing an extra 10 hours in a day, everything is great.
